Wonderful news!
We have been searching for sponsors for our summer camp this summer, and with the help of some friends, we’ve reached our goal of sponsors for 45 campers! Praise the Lord, and thank you to those who sent a child to camp. We are ready for camp!

We started our tally in October when we were sharing in the States, then in February when we were in Romania, we sent out a poster to churches and friends. Our week of camp will be on Biblical Character Traits including Sincerity, Discernment, Order, Forgiveness, and Decision-making: important things for teenagers. Please pray for the lesson planning and the leaders leading up to the week of 10th-15th August. Thanks!

Thank you for praying for us!!

Dear friends and family,

We thank you for praying for us and keeping us in your hearts. In Feb we had mentioned about a job opportunity for Luci, and you can read the original text here. He has had some different options come up in the past few months, but about a month ago started with a delivery company, something like UPS or DHL in the States. We are thankful that it is a local job and he stays here in our town, but it has been quite a fast-paced job. Keep praying for him as he adjusts to the schedule and gets to know coworkers and clients!! Thank you!

In Romania in the year 2000, there were: 87,753 orphans/abandoned children.

In the year 2010, there were: 62,000 orphans/abandoned children.

While numbers are going down, there is still a large group, with a high concentration in institutional orphanages in the Eastern part of the country. To effectively serve this marginalized group, there is a need for compassionate individuals to be willing to do life with them: support during the school year, providing extracurricular activities, and offering possibilities for them to grow.

Country's Induction in the EU: 1 Jan, 2007.
Conditions of orphanages have greatly improved with the country’s induction in the European Union, and grants have been given to certain orphanages and infrastructure to make renovations.
