We had lovely holidays here with all the kids we interact with regularly, meeting and merry making and giving some Christmas gifts. At all our meetings, we were able to share the good news and have some carols, and we pray the Lord would continue to work in hearts.
The Christmas Play in Garcina turned out well, for many kids it was their first time being involved in a pageant, and they learned their lines well. Luci, who was King Herod, forgot one but the kids didn’t! 🙂 There were18 kids involved and a total of 30 kids in attendance. There were many parents and neighbors who also came to watch their kids, and the time together opened lines of communication with some. This is what we prayed for, and it was a cheerful event in the community and we are grateful for the Lord’s working. Pray for the Spirit to continue working in hearts and lives in this village, and for the brothers who serve in this small Baptist Church. We plan on working continually with these children with a curriculum from Samaritan’s Purse.
