How God Works…

Most of the time we write about the ministry activities. But today I’d like to tell you a story from our personal lives to show you how God works behind the scenes, too!

We went on a family vacation two weeks ago to the beach. It was great and we all had a fun time!  When we were heading back, our car broke down. The following hours were strenuous but also amazing to see how God works and puts people together. We had heard about a family who are missionaries there with three children. They are from another part of Romania, but working with the church and some village ministries in that particular town where we broke down. Because we had to wait many hours for the parts for our car and for the shop to fix it, they invited us to their house to wait! We were so blessed! We had a lovely fellowship, Emily got to play with the girls, they fed us, and most importantly we waited in the air-conditioning in the 90 degree weather! The Lord works in mysterious ways sometimes, and sometimes our hardships are blessings in disguise. We are thankful to have met that family, to have shared common stories, and hope if the Lord brings a problem like that in our path, we can serve in the same measure. ❤️🙏

I sometimes get caught up in the day to day, and sometimes I get discouraged if there are problems, but I must remember that God has a plan in all things! He wants to teach us in every moment!😊👍

Thank you Jesus!!!

We are Lucian and Becca Avadanei, a young couple bent on orphan ministry. We met while both of us were involved in ministry to Romanian children, and decided to team up in our efforts to help orphans and abandoned children discover who they are. Now, we are serving together in Children and Youth Outreach in Romania under the organization My Brother’s Keeper Ministries. Follow us on our blog and learn how you can pray for the children.
