We are Lucian and Rebecca Avadanei, a young couple bent on orphan ministry and children & youth outreach. We met while both of us were involved in ministry to Romanian children, and decided to team up to help orphans and abandoned children discover who they are and the love God the Father has for them.
We do Children and Orphan ministry by way of outreach activities & Children’s clubs, English tutoring, and camps for children & youth in two orphanages in our town: Casa Ray Orphanage and Ion Creanga Orphanage, and in the village of Garcina. Prayer requests will be posted as needed and stories and pictures will be shared as we and our team from our Church learn how to be the hands and feet of Jesus to the children. Lucian & Rebecca are serving together in Children & Youth Outreach in Piatra Neamt, Romania with the organization My Brother’s Keeper International, www.mbk.ro.
We have three children, Emily is 6, Ruben is 3, and Jonathan is 1.
Our Plan is to work with, and through, the local church in Piatra Neamt, Sfanta Treime Baptist, to reach out to these groups of children, that will impact them now and in their future. We welcome the involvement of churches, individuals, and short-terms missions groups to assist us in reaching this area.

My name is Katie Wieand and I am the Children’s Music and Administrative Coordinator at Grace Community Church of Willow Street and our Sunday School students would like to adopt your family as our missionary focus for the months of July and August. I would love to set up a time to chat maybe through Zoom or if there is an app that works better for you, about what this could look like, how we could learn about your Kingdom work, interact with you, and support you.
